Two sources tell Rolling Stone that Astroworld lawyers deposed Drake about the tragic crowd on Thursday (November 9).

Drake was deposed for several hours in connection with hundreds of Harris County lawsuits over the mass rush, which killed 10 and wounded hundreds.

A strict publicity order restricted the sources from discussing the case beyond confirming the deposition. Drake’s rep said, “Due to orders in the case, I don’t feel it is appropriate to comment on the matter.”

Drake, Scott, Live Nation, Scoremore, and Apple, which live-streamed the concert, were named in several of the cases, even though Drake was only on stage for a few minutes at the end of the act as a surprise guest to perform “Sicko Mode.” Drake claims in court that he did not arrange or organize the event.
