A Young Thug YSL RICO co-defendant has agreed to a plea deal, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
On Tuesday (October 29), Quamarvious Nichols, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of breaking Georgia’s anti-racketeering rules in exchange for murder and weapons charges being dismissed, according to the outlet.
NBC News reported that Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker agreed to a negotiated 20-year sentence for Nichols, which includes seven years in prison and 13 years probation, including credit for his two years in jail. His sentence may have been life.
Nichols’ plea deal reduces the trial to four co-defendants and Young Thug, making it Georgia’s longest run after 10 months of jury selection and 11 months of testimony.
.Last week, Whitaker considered declaring a mistrial after a state witness revealed “sensitive information” to jurors. A mistrial would force prosecutors to start over or drop the case if granted.
