On March 20, BTS is set to release their first studio album since 2020’s Be, marking the K-pop group’s long-awaited return from a multi-year hiatus, as confirmed by their agency Big Hit Music. The seven members – Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – have been working together since July to create an album that will “reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas,” while also promising a world tour to support their upcoming release. Members of BTS recently sent out handwritten notes to their fans teasing the date of “2026.03.20,” with RM writing that he’d been “waiting for this moment more desperately than anyone,” while Jin shared, “I greeted you all as a soloist in 2023 and 2024, but I can finally greet you as part of a team again,” and J-Hope added, “Finally, it’s the year that we will all be together with you!!” Since their hiatus, the members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service and pursued a variety of solo projects.
