Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace on Wednesday, January 24. They wore conservative outfits but added their own style.

The “Kiss It Better” singer, 35, wore a tiny black dress under an enormous leather jacket with a belt to constrain her waist, ankle-strap heels over semi-sheer tights, gold jewelry, and a sleek black purse.

Rocky wore a button-up shirt underneath an embellished sweater that featured a diamanté neckline. He paired the look with black pants, a patterned tie, and a pair of sunglasses, as well as a leather jacket to match Rihanna’s.

Rihanna previously met with Macron in July 2017 to discuss international education funding after reaching out to him on social media. In February 2018, the pair met again in Dakar, Senegal, to raise funds for education in developing countries.
