Tina Knowles came out swinging on social media after she became “fed up” with online comments regarding Beyoncé’s skin color and hair at her Renaissance movie screening.

Tina called accusations that Beyoncé bleached her skin or that she wore platinum hair to “look white” dumb, ignorant, self-hating, and racist, and she laments that some Black people “continue with the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy.”

The motif for the movie premiere and “Renaissance” tour was silver, and Beyoncé’s mother recalls she “wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement.”

She even says she’s unhappy with TMZ since we asked Beyoncé’s hairstylist about fans’ comments about her premiere look. Tina claims black celebrities have worn platinum hair since Etta James.

While Tina’s words were in defense of her eldest daughter, she admitted that Beyoncé “is going to be pissed at me for doing this.”
